Haigs Hotel

Lovely small hotel. Convenient with parking on main road quite near motorways. Good food. Nice staff. Dogs accepted. 😀

The hotel was in a great location for what we needed as we were going to a works christmas party at Nailcote Hall The staff were very friendly and very helpful. We checked in as soon as we got there, nice easy process The room was nice and clean and perfect for what we required We came in late, after midnight but they had explained how we could get in to the hotel with a passcode which was very easy. No noise and we slept very well We booked breakfast for the next morning on arrival The breakfast was very nice, lots to choose from fruit, yogurt,cereals plus full english breakfast, toast, tea or coffee & orange juice Overall is was a very nice stay, would recommend

It was a good location for what we wanted

There was a makeup stain on my pillow case, they apologied and changed it straight away. The WiFi signal and internet coverage wasn’t great, tv signal appalling.

The location is great for all of the surrounding areas and attractions.

Welcoming staff who gave clear instructions regarding Wi-fi and the out of hours door. Room was clean and bed was well made. Good location, close to train station and basic needs shops. Room was warm.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable and had disturbed sleep every night due to hearing people going in and out of their rooms and walking around upstairs. Building creaked all night, no sound proofing at all. Shower was difficult to use - temperature hard to control and shower head was not adjustable. Shower door locked in place restricting access to tub. Toilet would occasionally not flush. Very dated décor.
