Comfy bed, good shower, house and gardens lovely. Good location, short walk to Ambleside or Rydal. Close to main road and bus route, nearest bus stop only 5 minutes. There is a drying room for coats and boots. I arrived early but had been informed I could park the car there which was very handy, used downstairs loo and walked into Ambleside.

Die Lage außerhalb von Ambleside ist sehr schön, das Haus liegt ruhig, es hat einen wunderbaren Garten. Man kommt auch gut zu Fuß in den Ort. Als Ausgangslage für Sightseeing, Wanderungen usw. empfehlen wir die Unterkunft sehr. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstück sehr gut. Außerdem gibt es einen kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer.

Location was exquisite— very scenic, quiet, and walkable to Ambleside. Very kind and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Facilities were beautifully kept, clean, and easy to navigate.

We had everything we could have needed. We genuinely cannot think of anything that could be improved.
