"Comfortable Guest house in a good location just outside Ambleside"

Good, about half a mile north of Ambleside. Easy to find. Parking on site. Good room and breakfasts. Helpful staff.

There is a gate to keep farm animals from roaming. When parking, you or your passenger have to open and shut this gate. Not really a problem.

Excellent location and facilities. Room spacious and well equipped. Had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb! Really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend a stay here. Easy walk into town for dinner at restaurants or pubs.

A little shelf in room with single beds would have been helpful.

A great location between Ambleside and Grasmere. Very quiet and peaceful. There was a very good choice for breakfast. The room was spotless.
