HOTEL SAN JUDAS

Spacious run with everything you need. Very very friendly and understanding staff.

For no fault of the hotel, the environment in which it is located is very noisy. We thought being on the edge of the town would give us some peace, but not so. When we arrived a drunk neighbor was blasting music (apparently very unusual and did stop by 8:30pm or so). Hotel had a very large group staying which was pretty loud, while they were again very very nice and turned their music down, spirited conversations went past 10pm. Shortly after that some other party nearby started and went till 3am, then roosters and dogs competed at who can be the loudest and then super early in the morning construction of the road just next to hotel started.... I have to say that when we arrived and realized that this is not the quiet space we envisioned, hotel staff was so understanding and did everything to help us find quieter place, but the only places that had space were on the main strip with traffic noise, so we didn't take those options.

Large room and large bathroom

No bathmat or hand towel. Poor wifi. Inadequate shampoo, soap etc. Cold weather and insufficient blankets. Sheets and pillows not nice. Building appears unfinished with no railings and raw concrete stairs. No breakfast.

We chose to stay here because of the reviews. We were on a day trip to Mitla when I became ill so we needed a place to stay. It was unbelievably loud with people yelling and talking at all hours, not to mention the truck revving outside our window at 3am. There was no toilet paper in the washroom and when we asked for some we were given a partial roll. We were also only given two small towels. The only thing it had going for it was that it was clean.I would not recommend this hotel ever!

Location and bathroom had pipe issues

we spent one night in Mitla. This accomodation was super clean. The views from the balcony were spectacular...360 degree view of the valley. Mitla is a small town. Accomodation close to the ruins. Definitely recommend others to visit this town and stay at the Hotel San Judas
