"Lovely stay"

We had a lovely stay at Arden House. We booked the room with a king-size bed and private bathroom and everything was clean and curated to make our stay comfortable. The welcome from the host and her recommendation were also great. The house is located just a few steps away from the charming village center and the castle. Highly recommended.

As many older houses in the UK, it's a bit narrow and there are plenty of stairs, so people with reduced mobility might want to ask for a room on the lower floors.

Lucie was a very welcoming host. Communication was great prior to our stay. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely, Lucie went above and beyond to ensure our needs were catered for (one of our party has a food allergy) and it was very much appreciated. Location is fabulous, in a quiet side street, yet close to everything. We all (7 of us) slept well, ate well, and enjoyed our stay. Would recommend and would return. Thank you Lucie!

"Lovely little b & b very close to town centre."

Great location, very friendly owner, comfortable bed.

The room we had was close to road which was very noisy. I think a room at the back would be better. Blinds hopeless at filtering light, really need blackout blinds. Bathroom door very loose and big gaps, not very private!
