Clarion Hotel Mackinaw City Beachfront

There was trash from previous people staying in the room under dressers and in drawers. There were spider webs in corners of the rooms. Did not feel clean at all.

The location was nice to have a beach front room

No locks on the patio door and we were on ground floor. Room was very out dated. No modern plugs to charge phone or anything. Carpet was not clean. Breakfast was horrible !!! So disappointed with the choice of food. Others in the dinning area were also complaining about the food.

Moldy rooms, no exhaust fan, cigarette butts and trash throughout facility, stained linen and towels, dirty rooms, so many things plugged into outlets had to unplug one thing to plug another in, cold pool, terrible breakfast, just to name a few, we left early, decided we couldn’t stay another night, Im currently trying to get at least a partial refund.

Walking distance to downtown and ferry.

Rooms were stinky and had a not clean feel. Vent and tv did not work. Mold in bathroom. Felt dirty just being in the room. Outside of property was not maintained well - dirty. Ice machine was disgusting. Pool was dirty and hot tub was cold. Dryers didn’t work so none of our clothes got dry - too moist to dry anything in the room by just letting it hang. Breakfast was disappointing and cold.

Didn’t have breakfast, it would be nice if served until 10 a.m. Nice layout and decor in room and bathroom.

There seemed to be a little bit of a musty smell… Maybe the carpet. Lying down, looked at the ceiling and saw a number of spiderwebs.

Room wasn't as clean as I'd like. Breakfast was low quality. The pool was cloudy. The hot tub was worse. No towels in the pool area. Looked like the end of a frat party. Building is designed poorly. Felt more like a campus. For the lower price I paid it was ok. But for another night it was going to be 80 bucks more. No way!

Close to ferry and to shops, restaurants and activities around the area.

check in and check out went smoothly

Windows in breakfast room were jammed and could not be shut making it way too cold. Floor looked like it had not been vacuumed recently and there was a build up of gunk on the nightstand. Refrigerator was wobbly and dusting could have been done better. Had to go outside to access the hot tub.
