Quality Inn Peru near Starved Rock State Park

Credit union has a good location. Its close to the highway and has various restaurants in the area and grocery stores in the area. It is not very loud and you won't be disturbed at night. The check in was quick.

There is a substantial cleanliness problem. There were rodents in my room at night. This was the result of a hole in the floor in my room. Additionally, unknown stains were on the couch in my room. Breakfast is kinda disappointing. It was better when I stayed here a few years ago.

Location was great for my selling event the next day: 5 minutes away. TV worked with multiple choices of viewing. Decent size of an updated room. As I checked in after 10:30pm, I didn't use any of extras it offered at this site, while leaving before 9 am the next day. Plenty of nearby dining/ shopping options.

I'm not a waffle guy as an adult unless there is meat to go with it: bacon, ham, sausage. There was none. I did get a glass of apple juice before driving across the street and buying a breakfast at "McDonald's".

Room was comfortable. Location worked for us.

Staff was pathetic. Check-in took 20 minutes and we were the only ones there. The front desk clerk had such an Indian accent that we couldn't understand him. No one wore uniforms or name badges. You had no idea who was a staff member. Our last night there, the front desk person was wearing a hoodie with the hood pulled up and over his head. He looked like a drug dealer. Breakfast could barely be called that. A few packaged muffins and cereal. We couldn't even make toast because they had run out of bread. It wasn't because of them being crowded, either. There was only a dozen or so rooms occupied. We won't be coming back to this place.

The breakfast wasn't very well. Not much offered even it supposed to be a continental breakfast.

Bathroom was dim lighted. And the shower didn't work to well

Fire the kid at the front desk. He tried to put us in a SMOKING room and we requested a NON smoking room then wanted to UPSELL to put us in a non smoking room even after our booking agent called them. My company will never stay there again.
