Downtown Grand Las Vegas

First time visit… Great place to stay for location to Freemont St. The hotel, immunities, staff all notch. Special thanks to Gregory and house staff for helping me get what I needed. Casino gaming staff hard working and friendly a bonus. Top it off room rates and daily comps make the stay affordable and fun! Thanks DTG for making my Las Vegas stay comfortable and fun! Side recommendation for Triple George - yummy food, nice staff.

I don't want to be a Negative Nancy,but I'm wasn't given any opinions of room size, luxury, penthouse or anything,it was just seen and said from whoever checked me in for one and will that be a single bed,but the room was standard by any means ,as well as no fridge,no bath tube and the water look so long to get hot I had to run the sink water to o help get water to my room , lastly valet Took my car out of Valet because my doors wouldn't lock on my s550 AMG Mercedes Benz luckily I had all my cars in valet the night of but I had tipped those guys like crazy oh and the complainted about my abs system it taking 2-4 mins to rise, okay that's your job, but yes I give it a two I give your guest a whopping 10 I loved the spicy behavior it's pleasing and much needed at times and staff as well .I would stay again and do it all again I just genuinely know how to rate thanks staff for keeping my property safe while I was in jail for Almost two weeks you guys are great, Godspeed,.

I’ll be honest, we booked here because of the room rates during SEMA and we weren’t expecting a lot more than a place to hang our hat, but Downtown Grand absolutely knocked it out of the park. It’s a fun place to gamble, sociable dealers, good choice of machines, who doesn’t love a $3 hot dog and a beer. If you want pizza, some of the best in LV Is right across the street and the Triple George is an excellent fine dining option. (Hey DG, open a diner for breakfast and you’ll be in like flint) Also, it’s extremely close to the food court at the Fremont Hotel and Casino, plus you’re basically on Fremont Street but far enough back to not have the music bleed into your room when you’re trying to sleep. When weighing the pluses of free play and food/beverage credit offers along with everything else, if you’re someone who enjoys Downtown over the Strip I’d put Downtown Grand up in my Top 3! Great place to stay and play!

Service was awful. Way under staffed in bars, Casino floor for payout to a hour!!! Stayed 8 days and I sled several times for my rooms to be cleaned and it never happened.

Everything in one spot. Tons of entertainment, or go explore. Either way the stay was enjoyable. Just a note...need more hours for pool access...

Wow! First time in LV and loved the Downtown Grand! A block away from the fun Fremont Experience and the area is chocked full of reasonable priced, delicious restaurants. Pizza Rock is across the street from the Grand. Fabulous! The hotel has gambling tables that are great for those on a budget. Our room was in the tower and very nice and clean. Coffee pot was provided with coffee each day. Room was spacious with a place to hang your clothes. We took an Uber each day to the Strip and back. Still cost way less to stay at the Grand. Plus, it’s close to liquor, beer, snacks and live bands on Fremont St.

The good: incredibly comfortable bed, good night of sleep. The bad: first room was vibrating from super loud music, had to change rooms. Second room away from Fremont was much better. I called ahead of time to confirm pool was open, but it wasn’t. Pool restaurant was also closed despite multiple texts a day from hotel saying “join us poolside for breakfast/lunch/drinks”. Had to go thru very smoky casino to get to elevators for room - if you are in the tower section you can avoid this. The pool restaurant and the diner were both closed so no breakfast onsite.

The web site stated there was a refrigerator and coffee in the room, there was not. We requested a handicap room, we did not get one. It was supposed to be non smoking, no mention the casino was smoking. Everything was dependent on having a player's card, and how many points you acquired for food prices, drinks, valet parking, etc. We were very disappointed at the methods you used to extract money for services that the web site stated were included. We have not received our deposit back, and the cost of the room and resort fees were higher than stated in you booking site. If you want people to return, stop trying to nickel and dime us, and get rid of of the false resort fees!!!

Spent the day with my daughter at NHRA Dodge nationals at the Strip. We haven't been there for 20 year's. Had a great time. Came to DT vegas. Stayed here before. Nice casino hotel. Very pleasant stay

Met my family here for Halloween vacation. The room was very clean just lacking a microwave and they even let me swim all day after checkout.
