If anything I could probably complain about is the hot tub was really hot and the pool was ice cold lol 😆

Our room was the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in and it smelled musty. Our reservation was for a room with a queen bed and a couch but it only had a chair (which was not comfortable). The lady at the desk said they don’t have rooms with couches. I used booking.com to reserve our room. I will not use that website ever again!

This hotel is a dive. We got a "deal" and paid a total of $334.74 for two nights on 9/26 and 9/27, which is outrageous. Our room (101) was damp, dingy and smelled. This room has not been updated in decades: the brown patterned carpet is ancient, damp and sticky – it was so gross we could not walk on it with bare feet. The bedding felt damp due to the overall dampness in the room, which was repulsive. The bathtub was disgusting, with dirt apparently permanently ground into the plastic – we used shower shoes because we did not trust that it was clean. There was an overall musty, unpleasant smell in the room as well. We arrived late the first night and went right to bed as we were exhausted, but I spoke to the woman at the front desk the second night and very nicely and reasonably asked for a better room after explaining the situation. She said she had no other room to offer, and suggested we turn on the air conditioning, which we already had. I then asked for a discount, and she said she would leave a note for the manager who would have to approve this. We have not been contacted yet. There was no apology for anything or indication of concern. The flyers in the room say "commitment to your satisfaction" and say if you let hotel staff know if there is anything that would make your stay more enjoyable, they will make it right. There are also promises to provide guests with the most professional and personalized service, and to assist with anything they have overlooked 24 hours a day. We experienced none of this. We reserved at this hotel because the only hotel at our destination 45 minutes away looked pretty run down, and since we wanted to have a nice hotel to relax in we were willing to make the drive in the morning. We figured a "name brand" hotel chain could be trusted to be reliably kept up. Instead we were completely grossed out and could not wait to leave. We didn't even stay for the breakfast because we didn't trust what the quality level of that would be after our disappointing room experience. It really colored our entire trip, which was disappointing. We have stayed in hotels in Chicago and Milwaukee for half this rate which were modern, clean and fresh. To bill this price as a "deal" is a blatant rip-off. And the lack of the most basic level of customer service is appalling.

We checked in and were given two rooms. When we walked into the rooms the smell of pet urine was overwhelming as well as the smell of dampness. We then went to the desk to get two more rooms and after pressing the woman a bit she said I guess I can give you these two which we don’t usually get complaints about. Hmmmm that was an odd comment. We tried those two and immediately one of my friends started to have breathing problems and another had her eyes water excessively. At that point we couldn’t stay so we left.

The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was tasty. Though we didn't use the pool we observed there are accommodations for disabled individuals to be safely lowered into the pool.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in for two weeks. Clean, comfortable, friendly and best breakfast yet. Great local info board for shopping and dining, etc.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were cozy & clean. Breakfast was far more robust than many hotels I've stayed in.
