Good location

+ location + room + temperature Wow, what an adventure this was! I thought I will not be able to sleep and will get robbed, but nothing of sorts! The best news is that the rooms are located in a separate building, next to the pub - so you don't have to worry about the noises coming from downstairs. To be fair - my single was possibly the best insulated room of all rooms across all hotels I had the pleasure to sleep in. I could hear my eardrums working. Temperature was also spot on - my only window actually was facing an interior corridor, not the outside. Bathroom was also quite spacious, and fairly clean.

- smell - overall cleanliness I was so positively surprised I'll leave only two things here for the most demanding sleepers: my room had the smell of a '90s hair saloon (but you get used to it pretty quickly). And the overall cleanliness can surprise you in more difficult to reach places (some thick dust on higher shelves, some black spots in the bathroom). But that's all, overall I was very happy with my stay!

Friendly staff, good car park.

Shower was hanging off the wall and the water was scolding hot, told staff who said they would get a plumber in.

It was a cheap room, and all I wanted was a decent nights sleep. But the breakfast was simple but perfect (I was asked by the chef what I'd like, he made it, it was delicious), I was able to get in at 4am (having checked in at 6pm), the room was lovely, the little shower room did the job... I have literally no complaints at all.

Ar this price??? Nothing at all!

Continental type breakfast included which did the job. Room fine and free car parking at the rear also a bonus
