Econo Lodge Richmond North

Good for a one night stay, definitely gets the job done at an affordable price. Room could use a little updating.

Do not stay in this Econo Lodge. It is absolutely thilthy. We had booked 2 nights and if it weren't for the fact that we arrived at 11:00 p.m. on the first night and had no where to go, we would have cancelled both nights after seeing the room (see the attached photos). You are given 2 measly towels and they were thilthy (see photos). There was 1/2 roll of toilet paper on the holder and no extra rolls in the room. No box of tissues. Just minimal, minimal stuff!!! There was an odor of pot smell the entire time we were there.

This Econo Lodge was absolutely thilthy. We were booked for 2 nights. If it weren't for the fact that we checked in at 11:00 pm on the first night and had no where to go we would have cancelled both nights. The front desk did say they would initiate a refund for the 2nd night, but someone needs to look into them using the Econo Lodge name. This is not like an Econo Lodge.

Good location

Check-in was done at an outside window with manager behind a "bank like" protected shield and the lobby door was locked. The floor was sticky and dirty and our sheets were still damp from washing. Hotel information indicated a continental breakfast would be served in the lobby but when I tried the door it was locked and then they told me to go to the Waffle House across the street.

There was no breakfast at all for the price I paid.

It smelled like mold. The room had not been clean. Dirt was all over the floors inside the dresser. The ac was extremely loud and dirty. When asked to move to another room non were available and it was no refund. Couldn’t take the smell so had to leave and stay somewhere else.

Bed was gross, shower even more disgusting, reserved a non smoking, but definitely was in a smoking and no breakfast as stated on the site. Not going to stay there again.

The place was absolutely filthy in a seedy part of town.

This is not a place you want to stay. I have been to many places and never have been treated so badly. The lobby was a mess and everything wen down hill from there. Don't ask for the breakfast that is listed on their website. They have no intention of honoring anything. Looks to me as if it might be a drug hang out. Several people loitering outside. Very dirty. This is not a good deal at any price. If you decide to stay here do say you were not warned. NOT a place to take a family or for a single woman.
