Holiday Inn Express Osage Beach - Lake of the Ozarks by IHG

The mid shift customer service I think her name was scoot was wonderful greeted us with a smile. And most importantly of all show us all love. We love her. She was the light of the hotel. And breakfast women was sweet and generous!

Manager Carla & Front Desk personnel Seleste were warm, caring & went out of their way to assist us and I also witnessed them assisting others. Having two amazing people who are your first impression & contact upon check in let’s you know the type of facility you are staying at.. would definitely stay again

Stayed here twice, the first time called in for early check in through customer service but arrived the staff said there was no records. They let us check out at noon that time. The second time, was told I couldn’t check out later at noon because I am not a member. There needs to be consistency. Also, the AC made weird noises occasionally during the night. Everything else was fine.

Go back to the filtered coffee packets that actually make a pot. The Keurig pods leech plastic into your cup of coffee. I hate those things! The pool needs to be heated. The room is steamy but the water was cold. We wanted to float and relax but couldn’t stay in long due to the temperature. The Booking.com process was easy and reasonable for us. However, once we got to the hotel, the check-in process became a nightmare. The lady found us in the system, but wanted a card on file for incidentals. There is no alcohol in the refrigerator in the room, so I’m not sure what she meant by incidentals. She was acting like in case we damaged anything, she had a card on file to go after us. We stayed for three days and she booked us a room right there near the front desk. I went through five credit cards and she kept telling me that I wasn’t on file. I told her we had never stayed there before so there is a possibility that we were not on file. The debit card I used to book through you guys I provided to her and that didn’t work either. I finally let a couple people behind me go ahead of me and of course their cards went right through. I don’t think the lady knew how to do a process with using Booking.com. So, she finally settled on not having us enter a card, but basically stating that she would be able to watch us cause we were there for three days. Although the stay and the building was nice, going through this process was quite embarrassing. These cards are paid off, so I know there is no problem with our credit and getting denied. It really made me mad and made me look at her like she didn’t know what she was doing. I think she was one of the owners too. Not sure how they get paid on this process or if it’s discounted and she doesn’t like it, but it needs to be improved. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

Room was clean and well ventilated. Bedding was comfortable. Good pillows. Breakfast was great - clean area, good selection, and lady running the area when we were there was very friendly and pleasant.

Mattress was a tad lumpy. Need to vacuum a little bit more. Front desk staff need a bit of additional education on customer relations and how important it is because they are the face of the business.

The staff is exceptional and friendliness. The hotel was very clean and everybody that worked there cared about the customers and their job. I highly recommend staying at this hotel best one at the lake. I live here and had family come down and I put them in this hotel and it was wonderful. A lot of amenities I room pool everything very clean love the morning breakfast.
