Sleep Inn Nampa near Idaho Center

They were able to accommodate us (2 queen rooms for 2 nights - a couple and our 19 and 16yo) by providing adjoining rooms. Rooms had to be the same to adjoin though, meaning either two doubles or single queen for each. The pool area was clean and appeared well-maintained. The water pressure in our room shower was fantastic! The rooms felt quite clean when we checked in. The housekeeping crew does a good job. Hot breakfast was yummy with good options available. The man stocking and caring for the breakfast area during breakfast hours was awesome and friendly - he should get a raise!

Clear damage to the furniture and walls in the rooms, and the carpets were stained. Not a huge issue, but I did take photos when we checked in to cover ourselves. Queen rooms were quite small. Automatic entry doors would be a highly useful upgrade. Two sets of manual doors greet you at entry, which can be cumbersome if you're traveling with luggage and littles. Posted everywhere that this is a smoke-free facility. However, the pungent odor of walking areas indicates that it wasn't always the case. I assume to combat the stale smoke smell, they absolutely blast the common areas with HEAVILY scented air freshener that seemed to even linger on our clothes after we left. It's especially strong in the foyer when you first walk in. Like, it's a LOT. Hurts the head and sinuses. About 10:00 pm on the evening we checked in, I rang the front desk to ask if we might have two extra pillows. (There were four standard in each room but no extra pillows/blankets in drawers, etc.) The woman who answered the phone (also who checked us in) was likely the only person on duty. Understandable. But she responded like I put her out: "Well.... I mean I *suppose* I can get them ready for you... But I have NO IDEA when I could get them up there." I answered that it was all right, I'd be willing to come down and collect them if she would "get them ready." We were able to do this. Still, her response felt kind of off-putting for the hospitality industry. The breakfast room is VERY small and claustrophobic. 4 small tables with 2-4 chairs, plus a bar area with tall chairs against the back wall. If more than 2 ppl are getting food or coffee, you will bump into each other. Non-breakfast, they offer brewed coffee area and ice water; there's also a hot water carafe with tea/cocoa in the lobby. I went to get ice water mid-morning - no water 'til 11am. Bummer. Okay, cup of tea. "Hot" water tepid and yellow. No thanks.

Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable just a little small for 2 people. It was quiet.

Toilet got clogged. We called and they asked if we could go downstairs to get the Plunger. So we needed to go and get it. Would've prefer for them to bring it over.

Convenient to the freeway, pool and hot tub was nice to have for kids, not far from shops/restaurants, the room was small but enough for what we needed.

Bathroom is very small. Shower only, no tub if you have small children. Pocket door to the toilet/shower was annoying with kids who lock themselves in by accident!

It was pretty quiet

I thought the front desk staff was pretty unfriendly and tried to charge me twice for the room which was crazily overpriced and purposely jacked up the price for Memorial Day.

Pool was good. Bed was comfortable.

Room was dated. Bathroom smelled like stale cigarettes. Room faced freeway. Very loud.

Nice and clean.

The girl at the front fest at check out was sleeping at check out so I had to wake her up and she fell in the floor.

I like the location, it is close to the freeway, and in a good area

Wish they had a designated smoking area. When checking in- the receptionist refused to allow me to pay at the end of stay when clearly on the website and the email stated I could pay at end of my stay.
