Novotel Valencia Lavant

The hotel is newly renovated, and the pool at the terrace makes it easy to sunbathe if one doesn't want to take the trip to the beach. The hotel location is very close to a metro station, and a relatively big shopping mall. The reception staff was super friendly and allowed us to check in early at no extra cost. They also gave us food recommendations which we really appreciated.

The hotel could be incredible if more attention to detail was given. For example, some amenities such as q tips and hair conditioner were missing from the room (which we got when we asked), and the cleaning stuff forgot to supply us with towels one of the days. Additionally, the pool area seemed a bit mismanaged as it opens at 10 but the actual bar opens at noon, meaning that we and to leave the pool and get coffee from the supermarket near by. There were also screaming children running around and other groups of adults blasting techno music and smoking (which wasn't allowed) but the staff did not interfere.
