Went to the Hideout & it was great! We got drinks and food. The catch of the day was delicious, kalbi bowl, and mo bettah all so good. But Chiara our server really made the experience! She was so attentive and we always had everything we needed. Aloha

A wonderful, great value-for-money experience. It is perfectly located for access to the CBD and shopping. Bus stops right outside and can take you anywhere on the island. Short walk to the beach. We had breakfasts included - generous, fresh and well made. The service from the staff is impeccable; from everyone at the front desk, to the room cleaner to the bar staff. We felt like famiky after a very short time. It has a slightly quirky, but friendly island style in the architecture and grphic identity. Cool. We did A LOT while we were on Oahu, and staying at the Laylow definitely enhanced the experience. It just seems to have a calm, cool, friendly "vibe". Special thanks to Nicole and Sarah for the breakfast chats!

Absolutely perfect anniversary staycation experience! The staff assisted with flower delivery, in room champagne, charcuterie and fruit plate. Everything was ready for our big event! The staff was friendly and welcomed us with open arms, wishing us Happy Anniversary throughout our stay. The restaurant and bar is great. Super location next to the new International Marketplace. Thanks for making our special day special!

Stopped for a cocktail at the Hideout - great live music and Chiara was our excellent server - she recommended a drink for me that was PERFECT. Good vibes, casual. We will be back!

Clean room and friendly staff!

We love this Hotel, but this review is more about the restaurant at the Laylow. The dinner was great and the Breakfast superb! The service is excellent, special shout out to Nicole, who is wonderful. Go there and enjoy!

It was my first time visiting Hawaii, and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. From the moment I arrived, I was touched by the warm hospitality of the staff. During the lei-making activity, Midori’s kindness and attentiveness truly stood out—she made the experience so memorable. After that, I spent the day sightseeing while wearing my handmade lei, which made the whole experience feel even more special. I was also pleasantly surprised when Aki from housekeeping left a kind comment card by the bedside. Such a thoughtful gesture made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The location was excellent—just about a 3-minute walk to the main street and 5 minutes to the beach, which made it very convenient for both sightseeing and shopping. In the evenings, I dined at HIDEOUT, the restaurant inside the hotel. The food was delicious, and the mocktails were especially refreshing and flavorful. I also loved their happy hour, which had a great atmosphere with good music and a relaxing, open-air vibe—perfect for winding down after a day out. I also adored the amenities in the room, which were not only practical but also beautifully designed and very cute. The hotel’s original goods available at the shop were also so charming that I couldn’t resist getting a few as souvenirs—they perfectly captured the hotel’s warm and stylish vibe. Overall, I was truly impressed by the staff’s warmth, the convenient location, the quality of the food and drinks, and all the thoughtful details throughout the stay. This hotel made my first trip to Hawaii an unforgettable experience. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit.

Loved the Laylow for many reasons. Great location, fun activities, cruiser bikes to get me where I wanted to go… Breakfast was lovely (Marriott platinum members get four choices off the menu), and our server Nicole got to know us very well during our week there. One day I had to spend five hours working from the restaurant, and Nicole made me feel very welcome.

The staff and accommodations in this hotel is a 5 star we received the best services during our stay from all staff members. Special thanks to Tytan in Valet he provided us with excellence service during our stay at this wonderful hotel. We will definitely be back….
