"Hotel that won’t disappoint!"

Everything was excellent, friendly staff and really comfortable beds

The only issue was the late afternoon cleaning of our room after several reminders; otherwise this hotel is absolutely superb

The staff including the front desk, concierge, and Anna, Guest Relations, were wonderful to interact with. They were all so very friendly, accommodating, helpful, and professional. It was very clear that their guests are their priority. They assisted in pre-arranging airport and port transfers with an excellent driver. The on-site patio restaurant was lovely, and particularly convenient for breakfast.

"Amazing hotel"

Amazing hotel in a fantastic location. All staff are friendly and very attentive. Comfortable and clean rooms and delicious breakfast.

Our shower was broken, but or was fixed as soon as we informed reception. This was dealt with excellently.

The very elegant historic furniture and layout of the hotel with styled lounges give a very authentic feel. I loved the entrance foyer. The air conditioning in the bedroom was really well appreciated. I loved the tea making facilities in the room also. Everything was really very worthy of their fine reputation. "A memorable stay with thoughtful service and a fantastic location"

This was my third time staying at this hotel, and this visit was especially meaningful as I travelled with my mum to celebrate her 72nd birthday. Before arriving, I had asked whether it might be possible to have a room with a balcony. Although the hotel was unable to accommodate that request, they very kindly upgraded us to a Deluxe room with a beautiful panoramic view, which made our stay feel extra special. The room itself was noticeably more modern than the ones I had stayed in previously, and the upgraded TV experience was a great addition, with Chromecast support and apps such as YouTube and Netflix available directly on the television. What really stood out, however, was the thoughtful touch from the hotel staff, who left a handwritten note and a small gift for my mum’s birthday. It was a lovely gesture and genuinely appreciated. The location continues to be one of the hotel’s biggest strengths, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and enjoying the surrounding area.

Whilst the overall experience was excellent, there were just a couple of minor negatives. The pillows were slightly uncomfortable for our liking, and the extractor fan in the bathroom appeared to run constantly. I did try to look for a switch to turn it off but couldn’t find one.
