"Best Hotel Stay in Nice!"

This was our second stay at this Hotel. It is in the perfect location to explore Nice and not far from the train station. Get a Seaview room to have a lovely view. It is truly magical to wake up and look out at the promenade and ocean. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Staff could not have been more accomodating.

Location is the best. Stay in a Seaview. If you're in Nice you want the view!

"WONDERFUL HOTEL"

My husband and I loved this hotel. Historic and beautiful, our room had a sea view (we requested such a room). The two dinners we had at the hotel were delicious; the best salmon we have had in years and we are from New England. The breakfast buffet was terrific. Our room was large and roomy with lots of storage-large closet with space to hang clothes and shelves as well. Refridgerator in a corner and not in the way. Great shutters to keep the morning sun out and super comfortable bed. After travelling for a month, this room was nicest we had stayed in (and we did stay at other 4/5 star hotels. The only "downside" was the usual high European style tub/shower requiring careful maneuvering. We asked for a shower mat and it was quickly provided. This hotel is $$$$ but we found it to be well worth the price. It was a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime hotel and we do hope to return.

Celebrating 50+ years of friendship a dozen of us happily resided at Hotel West End for three perfect days in May, near Vieux Nice, a short ride to the Musee Matisse and a lovely dinner at the hotel. Highly recommended.
