The Bowers Chalet Private Campfire & Lawn BBQ, WIFI, Breakfast Hill Top 360 degree view

Location is good and isolated from the city.

We stayed for one night and, unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing. There was no electricity for most of our stay, the TV was not functioning, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned — we even found a dead bird inside. Additionally, we were asked to change our booking and move to a different room. That said, I would like to acknowledge that two members of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. However, the overall standards fell well below expectations.

The rooms were cozy, as shown in the pictures. The staff were courteous, the service was quick and the food was good and the pricing was great. The free breakfast was sufficient and also tasty. The 360 degree view is stunning.

The place is a bit dry and dusty unlike the rest of Ooty. It was also very windy due to the location. This has nothing to do with management, but it is due to geography. It is a little far away from any other amenities/activities. You cannot take a stroll in the evening and reach any shops/markets.

There was no wifi at all. The toilets were broken. Tv not working.

1. Priority was given for buffets as we had to wait for complimentary breakfast inspite of multiple follow ups over calls and also in person for being arranged the breakfast on time.
