Location was great, breakfast is good, service is very good

We have boked room for 4 nights and clearly told the booking lady that we need Wifi as we have to work, but we got a corner room without connectivity. Also the room is very bad, toilet seat was broken.

Location is superb, away from the city, in the hills - if you are looking for the "place in the hills, with a sunset view, lots of birds and a spot for a grill", this is one of those places you can get a very low price. Breakfast is superb - had idly, dosas, and vermicelli upma. Dinner was average - ordered basmati rice (dry), honey chicken and butter chicken (were average) The toilet, although a bit old, was surprisingly clean!! The backyard garden is amazing, and it has a sunrise view!

Cleanliness - Typical of Tamil Nadu! The plates, glass, dishes, spoon, water jug, etc., were not clean! Even washed utensils had the leftovers from the staff on the handles. The food tray remains outside until our next meal. Birds and ants eat everything and spill everything on the patio. Flies everywhere. The room wall was dirty and even had chewing gum stuck on it! The small table was also dirty and sticky! The power was turned off when we checked in, and we had to call 3-4 times to fix it. The garden was also littered with garbage thrown by the guests, and no effort is taken by the staff to either clean it or discourage the guests from doing it. There was also a food tray with leftover food that had been sitting there for a few days, I think.
