The Red Cow - Guest House

Location was great, staff were so lovely. Especially Stephen who checked us in he was so lovely helping to carry our bags and so informative about everything we asked, he organised a taxi for us as we were going to a wedding. We ate in the pub and the food was lovely my mum and sister said it was the best pad thai they had ever had!! Rooms were comfortable and had a very generous tea tray with breakfast items, water and milk in the fridge.

Went for England Rugby match day. So welcoming and in tune with the day! Attentive and so friendly. Mentioned live music for the evening so we made sure we were back for it! Very accommodating!

Room was a little small but very well appointed and had everything we needed. Wasn’t in there long so outweighed by the rest of the stay.

The room was beautifully furnished and perfect for two single travelers. The location was excellent for all of the exploring we wanted to do around Richmond and we even got to experience a few of the unique holiday events happening around town.

Would like to have known in advance that the pub was located directly under the rooms and that there would be quite a bit of noise (loud music, crowds cheering the rugby match, etc.) going well into the night. We had ear plugs, which were helpful, but the vibrations from the bass were hard to sleep through.
