Residence Inn by Marriott Minneapolis Edina

We experienced a fire in our home and had an extended stay at this property. TheySales Director Willy was so helpful in encouraging us each day. He went out of his way to make us comfortable as we had a lot of adjustments to make. His cheerful nature and help made an arduous experience so much more enjoyable!

We love staying here when we are vendors at the Edina Fall Into the Arts Fair. The full kitchen, ability to close the door to the bedroom, and the convenience to Centenial Lakes draws us back every year. The bath area is a bit small, but workable. It is so quiet and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this Residence Inn.

Was told at check-in that house keeping would come every other day, but room was not serviced during a four night stay. Hotel charged five dollars a day for parking which was not discussed during check-in. Charged to card on day of checkout but was removed after I called hotel.

The room was exactly what we needed. The kitchen was stocked and clean. The room overall could use some updates but was worth the price. The playground and pool were unfortunately closed for maintenance during our stay but considering it was the last weekend of summer it made sense. The breakfast was great and the front staff was amazing. I would recommend to anyone who needs a kitchen and will stay again.

Gave us wrong room and one of us slept on couch, which meant no sleep...could not rectify it and GM refused to even acknowledge their issues

The hotel’s breakfast was plentiful. Front desk friendly and helpful. Sofa bed was NOT comfortable at all which is typical of this type of bed. There could have been better lighting throughout. Only one lamp in the room with the queen beds. Price was decent for the week we stayed.

I have been staying at this hotel for over a year, every 2 - 3 months. I come to Minneapolis for surgery and doctor appointments, so having a place feel like home is essential. Over the past 3 stays we started noticing a decline in staff and cleanliness. They also started charging to o park in their parking lot...$5/night. We selected this place for location and the good breakfast, and ability to have a full kitchen. Our latest visit was horrendous! Upon entering the room I opened the closet, I noticed dog excrement in the closet and up against the wall. I immediately reported it. It was cleaned, and later noticed the top cover over the conforter soiled, the bath tub wouldn't stay open, so we had to use a butter knife to keep the drain open and the showers ability to drain, the breakfast buffet area looked like a tornado went through. Nobody was wiping down the counters or tables, as they did in the past. Oh, and before getting into bed, sticking out, and clearly visible was a nasty remote control that clearly had been under there for months. I'm guessing the maids vacuum hooked it, but how she didn't see it is beyond me. Saturday morning we lost power for an hour. There were people stuck in the elevator screaming. The whole experience was awful. I made a list, again complained and what did they do? The took off the 3 nights of parking fee....$15. So, I was eager to review the hotel, let them know the changes they've made has ruined the place. It's filthy. And we will never return!

Where we come to area we stay here, it's quiet, clean, and a wonderful staff.

The$75 pet fee was a bit high considering the pet waste container was overflowing my entire 4 day stay.

Easy to get to, we walked to dinner through a beautiful park, and the breakfast is excellent.
