Nice room and breakfast! Great price! Had to pay $5 to park.

The park pictured was an additional 10 dollar charge per child. Also, the pool is a shared pool with the community, so swim hours are limited based on swim classes etc. The price for the mini suite was very reasonable. Great breakfast offerings!

Wow this place was amazing, great service, great food, big room, people were real nice and respectful I will stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality

The check-in process was efficient and the hotel staff was friendly and VERY HELPFUL. Where it all went wrong was with the room service. 1. There is a room service schedule that patrons are to read somewhere near the check-in counter. We were not told to read it and we arrived right before midnight and were very tired. 2. We checked in on a Sat. Our room was not serviced since we arrived and today is Tuesday. 3. We left the room on Monday at 11:30a and came back at 3p and our room was not serviced. When we left we were told that our room would be serviced. 4. Today, I was asked if I took my trash out and I was a bit surprised. I have never been asked that when staying at a RI Marriott. And then RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, the hotel staff called someone and sternly said, "Don't tell the people that we will take the trash and used towels out of their room if their room is not scheduled for service!" 5. My wife called the hotel when we left to get clarification and was told that we were supposed to read the Room Service Schedule when we arrived. (We arrived close to midnight and were not informed about the Room Service Schedule.) My wife then asked to speak to a manager and the hotel staff told her she would transfer her to Marjorie. Marjorie did not pick up and no one has addressed our concern, nor has our room been serviced since we arrived. We will travel back to MN for the same reason why we are here this time. We are saddened by the lack of service and respect.

Overall this was a good stay for the money. Liked that there was real dishes and silverware as well as a dishwasher. Had lots of room for clothes and putting things away to “stay a while”. The indoor park that we had access to for $10/kid was lots of fun. We only used the pool once as it was very limited in when you could use it and what lanes were available. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was okay, not too many choices and very crowded. The one major complaint is that we discovered upon check-in that the inside door handle was missing a screw and was falling off. I was informed that maintenance would be up to fix it. We stayed 3 more days and it did not get fixed before we left.

We have stayed in RI hotels in different parts of the nation and it’s usually our first choice because I of the room layouts, the service, and free breakfast. Personally, I love coming back to a clean room when I’m out all day. And RI Marriotts are usually on point. This is our first time in MN so we wanted to stay in a RI Marriott because we have had great experiences and family memories at the ones we have stayed in for some of our previous family trips. We arrived close to midnight on a Saturday and were tired. The staff member at the desk was very helpful and friendly. We checked in and finally got to rest. The breakfast is good and we enjoyed our stay for the first couple of days. Today we were surprised when we were asked if we took our trash out since we are not on the schedule. In all of our stays at a RI Marriott we have never been asked that - NEVER. We were leaving the hotel and I called in to find out why my husband was asked about taking out the trash and then hearing the hotel staff call down to someone saying not to tell patrons that their room would be serviced if they are not on the room service schedule RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. We were leaving the hotel for our day so I called in to find out more about why my husband was treated that way. I informed the hotel staff who answered the phone that we were never informed of a room service schedule. I was told that the room service schedule is posted by the check-in??? No offense but we came in late and were not informed of a room service schedule and we definitely were not thinking about reading a room service schedule/policy. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told I would be transferred to Marjorie who would take my call. I was transferred to a voicemail box. No one picked up my call. We will be back to MN for the same reason why we were here this time and I’m sad that this happened. All in all, I guess patrons have to make sure they read RI Marriott’s room service schedule when checking in - even if you’re tired. We felt like “guests” in someone’s home until today.

Breakfast and breakfast servers each morning were great! The rec center next door had an amazing indoor playground for my toddler. Furniture and beds need to be updated.
