Sheraton Suites Chicago Elk Grove

Beautiful building, smelled really nice in the lobby area!

Rooms was small, not the cleanest, some furniture was broken and dirty! Stains in curtains, ripped curtains! Stains on the walls broken bathroom vanity! Beds were very uncomfortable and small to be queen sized! The microwave area wasn’t the smartest idea because it got really hot when it was put to use I felt like that should’ve been on top of the counter and not inside. The hallway wall as were dirty and peeling off. It’s a nice hotel just need a better cleaning, I did put out an complaint on my room so the service helped a lot and the person at the front desk helped a lot so that’s a plus.

Only 1 elevator worked, my room phone didn’t work, there was no bedding for the let out bed.

Stayed at the Sheraton Suites Chicago Elk Grove and unfortunately the experience was disappointing overall. Our suite had a leaking toilet upon arrival, which immediately raised concerns regarding room maintenance and quality control. Frankly, it was obvious from the sound alone that the toilet was continuously leaking, which made me question how this room received a VR status in the first place. Because the engineer had already left for the evening, I was forced to switch rooms, which was not easy considering we had a large amount of luggage and were traveling with a pet. In addition, only one elevator appeared to be operational during our stay. At one point, we waited approximately 15 minutes just to go up a single floor. The situation became so inconvenient that a staff member actually recommended we use the service elevator instead of the guest elevators. Another disappointment was the internet service. Despite Marriott Bonvoy status benefits, there was no enhanced internet upgrade available. The club lounge was also below average compared to other Sheraton and Marriott properties we have stayed at over the years. The offerings and overall presentation felt underwhelming. Lastly, the room design itself lacked basic comfort considerations. The windows had no sheer curtains, meaning the only options were either complete blackout curtains closed or fully exposed windows with no privacy or filtered natural light. Overall, this property did not meet the standards we typically expect from the Sheraton brand.

I sent multiple messages through booking, called and left VM for GM and then tried emailing him directly. Front desk agents said only he could help me with my concern. I tried over a week to contact him and never heard back. Won’t be booking again.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Good breakfast!

施設の老朽化は否めない　エレベーターは１基故障のまま　シーツやタオルにフレッシュ感はない　それは仕方ないが… 夜中の３時に火災報知器が鳴り響き避難　消防員が駆け付け確認後、部屋に戻るも再び火災報知器が鳴り響く　悪夢のような一夜だったが、翌朝フロントから謝罪の言葉は一つもなかった
