A fabulous spa experience with Maria, very easy, friendly & professional... I could have stayed there all day, 10/10 relaxation. Highly recommended.

Πολύ κακή εμπειρία. Επέλεξα το ξενοδοχείο κυρίως για το τζακούζι, αλλά δεν λειτουργούσε και μας είπαν ότι φταίει ο καιρός, κάτι που προφανώς δεν ισχύει διότι έχω πάει σε πολλά ξενοδοχεία της περιοχής με χειρότερο καιρό και δεν είχα ποτέ προβλημα ...μας έδωσαν διαφορετικό δωμάτιο από ότι είχα επιλέξει καμία σχέση με τις φωτογραφίες. Ο χώρος ήταν πολύ βρώμικος και καθόλου προσεγμένος. Το κρεβάτι σκληρό και τα σεντόνια βρώμικα Το air condition δεν δούλευε καθόλου το βράδυ. Το αναφέραμε στον συντηρητή, μας είπε ότι θα έρθει, αλλά δεν εμφανίστηκε ποτέ. Για τα χρήματα που πληρώσαμε δεν άξιζε σε καμία περίπτωση και Ζητώ επιστροφή χρημάτων.

A truly wonderful hotel! I stayed there alone with my children and felt comfortable and safe from the very beginning. The staff were very professional and friendly throughout our stay. Our familyroom was not huge, but it was very comfortable, had two TV’s with a great shower, clean bathroom facilities, and it was cleaned every day. I would especially like to mention Maria, who gave me an excellent massage that was more therapeutic in style, exactly as I had requested, and it really helped relieve my tension and muscle stiffness. We had a fantastic stay and would happily come back again!

Location is not the best. On a fairly busy main road through Amoudara. Plus side is there is a good bus service to/from the airport and Heraklion, onward services from Heraklion to many other parts of Crete are good and very easy to use. Heaven beach bar and restaurant, which is a 3 minute walk away, is very good and staff are great. Petousis Hotel is nice but definitely not 5 star as some reviews say. The staff are very polite and helpful. Only one pool was open whilst we were there and sadly the jacuzzi by the pool was under repairs which was a shame as it would have been nice to warm up after a swim in the icy pool 🥶 there is a shower by the toilets though and that was always very hot. We booked a room with a jacuzzi on our terrace, it was lovely and hot when we arrived and the following morning but then was cold, we were told it had been fixed and it ‘takes time to heat up’. After two days without it we asked to change rooms which was agreed. Overall a pleasant stay and good if you just want to relax and chill for a few days or a week.

Maria is absolutely fantastic! I had the Cretan experience and came away feeling incredible. Maria was lovely, professional and knew exactly what bits needed extra pressure to relieve the tension. I highly recommend Maria to anyone. Thank you Maria!
