"One night in Congresbury"

Friendly, helpful and polite staff throughout. Spacious and comfortable room with a good shower. Nice bar and restaurant area and large garden with outdoor seating. Large car park Well located for exploring the area. Despite my comments below, I'd happily stay there again and pick a different meal!

A little road noise, which is mentioned in the welcome letter. Light sleepers my struggle more than I did. Went for the 2 courses for £20 menu, portions a little light. Im not a bug eater but the Calamari starter was just way too small.

I have to say, this establishment knows how to treat their guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were professional but friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The pub and restaurant side were quaint, well appointed, clean and tidy. The food was very good, delicious, hot and well presented. The bedroom (Axbridge) was spacious and clean, with great facilities on offer for their guests. Well worth the rate charged.

The only drawback is the road noise when you keep the window(s) open. When the windows are closed, however, it's quiet.
