Hotel Arpoador

Great energy, excellent breakfast, nice to have bike rental and location is perfect. 5 star in many ways but the whole place feels kinda tight and crowded. Narrow hallways, small pool. If you don’t care about that, definitely stay here for the other reasons I mentioned above. All in all, we recommend it and would return and the staff were very nice.

My partner and I stayed here for a week and can’t recommend it enough! The service was amazing. The food was incredible. The location can’t be beat. Everything was clean. Don’t skip the yoga class every morning either.

Quarto confortável, equipado com o que é necessário! O chuveiro é uma delicia. Limpeza muito boa também, gostamos bastante da acomodação num geral. O barulho não nos incomodou, mas de fato da para ouvir bem os corredores e afins Café da manhã muito gostoso também, gostei da opção de escolher o combo ou dois pratos do menu, café à vontade! Drinks autorais excelentes!! Localização PERFEITA!!

Em um dos dias nós jantamos no restaurante e um dos pratos estava completamente sem gosto, foi bem decepcionante (Não me lembro o nome, mas era um peixe, um pão brioche e batatas... bem ruinzinho), mas foi só isso mesmo

Rooms with sea view are small, mostly outdated, and extremely overpriced if located at 1st or 2nd floor You’ll have to claim for the complimentary welcome-caipirinha to not be billed (check your invoice !) Breakfast is a total disaster : bagels were just unfrozen, feeling chewy and the sunnyside egg brought with it was even worse than a McDonald breakfast egg in the 90s. At 600+ euros per night it’s a total shame from the direction. They are only benefiting a very nice view that you can anyway only enjoy from 4:30am to 7am as it’s overly crowded from that time, especially if you stay at 1st or 2nd floor. Avoid this hotel, there are plenty of much better places to stay in Rio, explore your options : you can do much better than Arpoador inn!

We had a fantastic stay at the Arpoador Hotel. The location is hard to beat—perfectly situated between Ipanema and Copacabana. The breakfast was solid and a great way to start the day, with plenty of options to choose from. What really stood out, though, was the beach service. Marcio made the experience exceptional—he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead, making sure everything was set up perfectly and checking in at just the right moments. His positive attitude really made a difference and added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, the entire team was welcoming and professional, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our visit.

Réservation en 10 2025 d une chambre avec balcon:surprise à l arrivée ,chambre non disponible bien que le prix payé était celui d une chambre avec balcon:après réclamation nous avons été remboursés de la différence mais aucun geste commercial ou excuse sinon qu’ il aurait mieux valu passer en direct que via booking..Autre point noir le ménage vraiment succinct avec toujours quelque chose à réclamer:serviettes,peignoirs,papier toilette.

The Arpoador Hotel was a great place to stay in Rio. Its location, right between Copacabana and Ipanema, is ideal and makes it easy to explore the area on foot. Breakfast was included and good overall - although a slightly wider selection of fruit would make it even better. The real highlight was the beach service, which was very convenient. Julio, the beach attendant, was especially kind and attentive. He regularly checked in to see if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. He also speaks English and French, which is a big plus. A big thank you as well to the rest of the staff and the cleaning team, they were all very friendly and did a great job.
