They ran out of toilet paper in the whole hotel according to the front desk clerk. When I asked what I should do when I was denied rolls at 9:30 at night, the response was, “it would probably be easiest if you went to the grocery store and bought more.”

Basic / clean hotel in Ottawa. No complaints outside of apparently very poor soundproofing between rooms, based on the angry call I received at 3am from an insane sounding woman claiming we were keeping her awake despite only watching movie on an ipad at low volume.

First, I waited for someone to show up to the desk for about 15 minutes. I had booked a reservation with this property and while checking in, they had no rooms available besides a king bed and I needed a double bed. Being up for 24 hours, I went ahead and took whatever was available. They gave me no apologies or a perk for the mess up. Another thing that was a bother was that they came into the room even though I had the “do not disturb” sign up. They needed to leave a note to say they aren’t cleaning the room. I definitely will not be staying here again and I highly recommend everyone to find another place.
