Super close to the beach, rooms are modern, clean, climate controlled.

Nothing too bad, could slightly hear upstairs neighbors if they walked hard, but otherwise was very quiet.

This hotel is absolutely perfect, I always stay there and would pick this hotel over any other one around, the staff is incredible, always eager to help make your trip as relaxing as possible, if you have any special requests they wont hesitate to help. It’s located in the best location in pacific beach, 1 min walk to the beach and major restaurants and bars, no need for a car just relax and enjoy the sea breeze, the rooms are super comfy and they are always upgrading they’re property to provide the best experience for you and your family. The rates are always the best compared to other hotels around and if you find any better deal around, let them know, and they will guarantee a better rate. A special thanks to Vanessa at the front desk who made our stay feel like a vacation to our private beach house. Thank you Vanessa and to all the hotel staff, you guys are amazing!! I can’t wait to go back:)

We've stayed at the PB Surf before, and really like its location just a block away from the beach. There are restaurants and a coffee shop within an easy walk. And for being along Mission Blvd, it was fairly quiet at night.

In our previous stays we were in a room with a small breakfast nook. We were in a smaller room this time and missed that extra amenity. We did notice that the toilet in our room kept running. And the parking lot is pretty tight; when large vehicles are parked there it can be nerve-wracking to navigate out.

location, bed and shower were all very good. Check in was right on time and the attendant was friendly. there was ample parking

chairs need to be changed out, could use a more comfortable chair instead of high tops for reading and meditation. my showers did not have soap. the surge pricing for the weekend was totally unwarranted as there were rooms available as well as at the sister location
