Everything was broken! The lights, the mirror, the bathroom door wasn’t locking. The mirrors were not clean, the bed had stains on it and hairs were literally everywhere like on our pillows, the toilet paper!!! The towels!! The location was great that it was in pb but I honestly don’t think I could’ve stayed here longer than one night.

Asked for body wash and never got it. Need to update and paint.

The rooms look nothing like the pictures. There is a very strong, unpleasant odor—likely from dirty carpeting and possibly mold. The rooms also have almost no natural light and very dim lighting. We requested a different room and were shown three others, all with the same issues. The staff told us that this is simply how the place is. I felt misled by the many positive reviews, as the reality was completely different. The front desk staff were helpful in facilitating the cancellation, but they were not friendly and did not even greet us.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr nah am Wasser. Auch Bars wo es Nachtleben gibt sind wunderbar fussläufig erreichbar.

I am once again writing this review to praise the PB Surf Beachside Inn in San Diego, California. I have stayed there for several years and several times a year. It has become a home away from home and I especially like the people that worked there. Including : manager Jim Silver, Alpha, Vanessa, Marlene and FiFi. Everyone else that works there has been very nice and I plan on making several trips through San Diego starting in November 2025 through May 2026. I look forward to seeing my" family" at the PB Surf Beachside Inn. They've always taken good care of me and the accommodations are great. See you all soon. Jim P.
