Quiet room, pleasant garden, good food, very pleasant staff. Nice walks in the area, like the National trust Up Park. Reasonable price.

The attention to detail is what sells this. There are some small touches that go a long way - treats, coffee station, magazine and newspaper app. The room has everything you could possibly want and breakfasts was amazing value. We would stay here again and would highly recommend this stay.

West Meon is lovely, as is the whole Meon Valley.

Telly in the room was faulty.

Wonderful place to stay. Room was perfect. Pub has a great atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff were all fantastic, warm and really helpful.

TV reception was pretty bad, but who needs TV when you’re in such a lovely place.

We really like the villages of West Meon and East. The property was clean and the room quiet and large. Nice outside garden area to have a drink.

The breakfast was not very good...tried avocado toast we choose was poor (previously frozen avocados). Our evening meal was also disappointing. My wife's fish and chips had way over-done fish, for example. We had lunch here a few years ago and it seemed like the restaurant was better then. There was a mix-up with the return of my deposit that took a few days to resolve.

All the staff were friendly and efficient, both at dinner and breakfast. The room was nigh on perfect as always.

We were disappointed that the choices for evening meal were severely restricted. There was not a lot that my husband wanted to eat. What we did eventually have was ok but not what we would have preferred. It was Bank holiday so they had been busy but had not factored that in to their menu planning.

Location was superb , staff were friendly, hut/were. Nice and private , with small garden .

Room was a bit tatty , and badly thought out , nothing that a bit of renovation couldn’t sort out .
