Fabulous welcoming lively local pub. Busy with locals but also very welcoming to visitors. Food excellent. Nice to visit pub that offers high quality different food, well cooked meals with tasty fresh veg. Generous breakfasts too. Room very comfortable with everything needed. Staff very welcoming and professional.

Comfy and well equipped room, when we arrived we found that the tv wasn’t working but this issue was quickly sorted out by one of the management team. Staff were v friendly and helpful and arranged taxis for a visit to a local vineyard.

Squeaky bed on right hand side, slight niggle that there was a live band right behind the cabin on one evening which no one had thought to mention to us. In fairness the music stopped at 10:30 but it was loud enough to make the pictures on the wall vibrate.

Very well kept and laid out; nice tables in dining room and outside bedrooms were spacious, well positioned and comfortable.

Die Unterkunft hatte einen netten Biergarten und man konnte dort auch gut zu Abendessen.

Das rip Eye Steak war überteuert und ist nicht zu empfehlen. Das Bier ist leider auch relativ teuer für britische Verhältnisse.

Lovely stay at the inn. Was a late booking to break up the journey but the staff were welcoming and the accomadation was perfect. The pub is obviously very popular but the accomadation is set back and there was no noise despite it being a busy Friday night
