Buccleuch Apartment

We booked the apartment that the review is headlined for but actually stayed in another property, not far away, because of work going on in the original place. Explanation and directions were all go and probably ended up as a better stay for us.

easy to get to, satnav good directions with post code only needed for overnight stay as was working on site at boughton house and needed decent bed, decent shower and low noise neighbrehood.

not sure the difficult parking situation was mentioned, or that the room was upstairs. both of wich would be difficult for folk less mobile than me. MAJOR CONCERN ... front door key box ok. room key pad took 12/15 goes for it to click and open. checked that i had the right code had been given 374. the c button did not seem to click after every failed attempt. when it did work it had made a different loud click. was slightly worrying when trying to get into room late/after midnight. also tried the code when the door was open, often took more than one try to get it to function. the unit may need looking at/oiling! I had to leave in a hurry ... if i have left anything behind .... if you are able to post. 20 witton court stenson fields derby de24 3hx ... i will re-imburse for postage, thanks.

Fantastic place

This was a very well set up property. Very self-sufficient and the owners were prompt with giving me information on how to access the property. The bedroom itself was very comfortable and spacious and it was nice to say hello to the other people in the other rooms of the property. The bathroom and kitchen were both perfect condition and lovely to use! Advice - it would be great if there was a small desk in Room 2 that I used, there seems to be enough space and a chair already in there, this would have helped for dinner time and doing some work to finish by day.

Property is in a row of terraced houses. Room accessed via flight of stairs. Shared bathroom. Quite noisy outside. Room clean and comfortable.

Clean, safe, nicely furnished room perfect base for exploring close to centre but not to close that it keeps you awake at night 👍
