Villa Ocean Sight by LovelyStay

The information about the property was clear and easy. Check in / out process was simple. The villa is well equipped and suited well for groups traveling together. The view from the villa is very nice and the layout is very good with bedrooms/bathrooms well distributed. Bus stop just in front of the house and access via taxi is very easy.

As mentioned in some of the other comments - there are several dogs in the area and when they are being fed or active they can be loud.

Fabulous location and views, spacious comfortable and clean villa. Has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday.The only negative is that there is no air conditioning.

Beautiful villa with great facilities both inside and out. Plenty of space for 6 friends on a walking holiday but could easily accommodate two families. Secure parking for 2 cars. Bus stops close by and only 10 minutes into the centre of Funchal. Local shop 5 minutes away for essentials. Nice restaurant at the top of the street.

No air con. It was however unseasonably hot. Fans did help but had to keep windows opened. Very noisy. Dog kennels a few doors away and other local dogs barking day and night. If not so hot could have closed the windows at night. Local school and kindergarten noisy during the day. Current major building works near by but suspect this will be finished in the next 6 months.

We were on a family vacation 7 adults and We loved the villa and the amazing views and the living room the pool it was truly amazing The staff were very nice and everything we ask for we got immediately

The problem was that the room in the lower floor was less comfortable and had lots of mosquitoes with no screen on the windows so they couldn’t sleep with open windows and it was very hot.

The design and facilities were great, the location was perfect, 6 min by car to Funchal, the photos here are absolutely true, the

It was too hot as there was no air conditioning. And some furniture (curtains, sofas) are stained - but the spots seem to be because of the water(it’s not a big deal)

The design of the property was amazing, there was a group of us, so there was plenty of space. The kitchen was perfect it had everything you needed for entertaining. Very well thought out with a games area in the basement. The bedrooms had plenty of storage space, good sized bathrooms. The master bedroom that had a rainfall shower over the bath which was a lovely touch.

The only downside about the property were the dogs barking early morning.

Very comfortable villa with great view and all you need for a good stay.

One day before we left someone came to the villa without prior notice while we were absent and closed the swimming pool, which we used every morning. So we didn’t have a swimming pool one day. It was disappointing.

Spacious and well equipped villa with excellent views and a good pool. Lots to entertain whole family with pool, table tennis, darts, gym and games console. Great transport links (bus stops just outside) and useful local shop for supplies within walking distance. Lots of natural light and no feeling of being overlooked. The welcome pack of Madeira treats is a really nice touch.

A kettle would make a very useful addition to the kitchen. The Dogtel kennels nearby does create some noise, setting off a bark chain with the local dogs.
