Holiday Inn Coralville - Iowa City by IHG

The staff at the desk was amazing! We had a couple issues and she got in top of it right away!

The toilet was not working correctly. We told front desk right away. She called someone to come check it out and that person was kind of rude. Said it was our fault and then when she found out that we had only been there for 20 min she turned it to the new plumbing. Switched our room and rudely told my husband to go flush the toilet to make sure it was to his liking.

I've stayed here when it was a Radisson and decided not to again after that experience. When I saw it had become a Holiday Inn I decided to give it another try. The property has definitely been remodeled. Very nice looking. Air

Got double billed. Once by Booking, and then by the hotel. Staff was not well trained.

Paid 3 times, because the Booking.com reservations had issues. Imagine paying $600 for a junk room. Elevator didn’t work properly (hasn’t been properly inspected to code). Room was dirty. Breakfast was pathetic. Worst IHG location on earth.

The hotel was under construction which we were not aware of when we booked. The place was a mess and the hotel in general was dirty.

The toilet had not been cleaned for quite some time and there was no hot water in the shower. The clerk said the manager would be in in the morning and then in the morning said he was on vacation for the next week. Will never stay there again!

$80 for a Friday night stay at the Radisson. But buyer beware. Staff was kind. Cheap happy hour at the restaurant.

Property is mid-major reno. Had to look closely to confirm it was indeed the Radisson and open. Property is about 35 years overdue for a refresh. Honestly surprised Radisson kept its flag on this one. Room was clean and safe though the scratching noises at night behind the walls behind my bed were… disconcerting. Bathroom sink spat out brown water at first and drained at a snail’s pace. Couldn’t adjust stopper because the plunger was disconnected from the whole thing. Didn’t even bother trying the shower given it was a one night stay and I was getting my $80 money’s worth. Restaurant no longer open for breakfast. Someone told me to try sneaking into the adjoining Hampton Inn for their free breakfast.
