There was a small pool but no hot tub. Honestly do not know if I have ever been to a hotel that didn’t have one. The breakfast didn’t open until 7am on the weekend. Which when you need to get up & going early means we didn’t have time but it is 6:30 on the week days. Do they not expect people to have plans on the weekends? The hotel was pretty dated but still decent. The construction made it hard to take the skywalk & you couldn’t go anywhere on the subway walking system because all ways were blocked due to construction. Overall very disappointing & will be picking a different hotel in the future.

We have stayed at the Kahler Inn & Suites multiple times in the past year. There is no place more convenient for access to Mayo Clinic than this hotel. They give a Mayo patient discount and have self park (daily fee) right on the premises. My favorite part is the Caribou Coffee in the Kahler lobby which allows me to have a hot, fresh cup of coffee in the morning during our stay. The rooms are basic, dated but reasonably clean and the beds are comfortable. They will bring you a recliner and have it set up in your room when you arrive, just ask! Otherwise, the furniture that comes with the room tends to be fairly stiff and uncomfortable. One of the best parts about visiting the Kahler is Nashay at the front desk. She took time during our various visits to get to know us, and greets us by name. Nashay is efficient and goes above and beyond for us. We are so grateful for her presence at the Kahler Inn and Suites!! Please note that we have stayed at the Kahler Grand (sister hotel to Kahler Inn and Suites) and had multiple bad experiences there so I highly recommend sticking with the Kahler Inn and Suites!
