The Fourth Lock Bed & Breakfast

The bed was just a box spring and mattress on the floor. For someone with knee issues, getting up and down from the floor to go to the bathroom a couple of times in the night was difficult. And the "breakfast" consisted of a muffin, an apple, and a couple of snack treats (Rice Krispie square and a granola bar) and a bottle of juice. We were not impressed. Pretty cheap!

Built on top of a restaurant. Convenient for meals, but somewhat noisy until the restaurant closes for the night.

My Stay was amazing - it was quiet, easy instructions and peaceful!

The 'Bed" was a mattress in a frame, no box spring, sitting on the floor. It was back breaking. There was a fitted sheet and a word comforter, no top sheet. Pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. The floors had no insulation and sound proofing, and the noise form the upstairs guests was deafening. When I called the 'office' to mention the noise, it went unanswered, and I could clearly hear the phone ringing in the restaurant below our room. I left a voice mail, but still didn't get a call back about the noise . The 'breakfast' was two muffins and two apples in a bowl. Not great for diabetics! There was ZERO customer service. Self check in and then you hope for the best, but should expect the worst.

great place to hangout

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Fourth Lock B&B. The Thomas room overall was excellent, from the cleanliness, spaciousness and view of the lake from the balcony being just a few of the highlights. The host was also helpful, checked in with us often and was very responsive to all our needs during our stay. As well, the Fourth Lock restaurant downstairs is wonderful and a first class dining experience with a great vibe. Overall, we highly recommend the Fourth Lock B&B and will definitely be staying here in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights here. It was a lovely stay. The self check in was nice. We enjoyed the common sitting room with games and coffee. In my opinion the breakfast was the only downside. They gave us a new supply everynight which was nice but it wasn't my type of breakfast, an apple an orange, a couple muffins, a couple rice krispie squares, some granola bars and some juice and yogurt in the fridge. If that's your type of breakfast then it's perfect! I would definitely come back though.

The place was very cozy and cute.
