Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque

This place is a dump. The internet doesn’t work well, so I couldn’t watch shows on my laptop. Had to be in Albuquerque for work at balloon fiesta time and this was the best I could get. Paid 3x the normal price and it was the worst hotel I have stayed in in Albuquerque. Last remodeled in the 70s

We have stayed at this location several times over the years but, will not be returning. Room was reasonably clean. The bathroom was very small with only two towels. The shower head sprayed everywhere BUT in my direction and the water was lukewarm. The bed was fair, pillows not so much. Staff was cordial enough. The hallways were uncomfortably warm and smelled musty. Most bothersome was the air conditioner, it was loud, clanky, and impossible to regulate. We did not eat breakfast at the Hawthorne but noticed it was the usual low budget motel fare of muffins, cereal, and uniformly round, precooked omlets. WiFi was worthless. There was no security that we were aware of which is concerning due to the number of people hanging around the store immediately adjacent to the Hawthorne. We were approach by people asking for money on three separate trips to the car. If you just need a cheap place to sleep for a night, it's ok but remember, you get what you pay for.

Delayed check in. Not enough help. Sold out. No room until 4 pm.

Room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. We had a nice stay. Thank you.

No wifi

The visit to the Hawthorne was average. Nothing really bad, but nothing really special, just average. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, the hallway & laundry area looked old & dirty, the elevator was really slow, but it was a nice stay. Thank you.

An *excellent* deal for a hotel a block from the harbor, and shuttle service to the airport. The room was very clean, with modern furniture and bedding. Breakfast is rolls, cereal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, juice, coffee.

Really enjoyed the professional staff and the clean facility. Bed was comfortable and clean and the mini fridge was great to have. Especially loved the super soft toilet paper, that was a nice change of pace from most rooms I’ve been in! My only issues were drainage problems with the sink and bathtub, will bring that up on check-out.

It smelled bad of smoke . I didnt get service when I asked . the pool was dirty . we didnt stay we left about 1 am bc the stale smoke smell my kids could not handle .
