Embassy Suites Cincinnati - RiverCenter

Some good and some not so at this well located, riverfront, property convenient to both Covington and downtown Cincinnati. They have done a nice job with this old style Embassy Suites. Rooms are up to date, large, clean and comfortable. Great shower, nice lobby bar, good views. Not impressed with the front desk team, they were professional but not warm and friendly, they were unconcerned when we raised issues with the TV service and room availability at check in, they didn’t have answers and did not seem empowered to solve problems. Breakfast was mixed, good one one day, ran out of coffee on the next. Banquet/ convention team was very friendly and accomodating. The omelette lady at breakfast was a true all star- everyone in my conference was talking about her. She is a true ambassador and her omelettes are top class. Overall ok stay, location supports the highish rate, but the front desk, the issues at check in, breakfast concerns, no intermittent broadcast tv outages, and a sticking door that you have to be sure is closed, do not support that rate. I would stay again for convenience but it wouldn’t be my first choice

Clean and convenient to GAB. Just a short walk across the bridge. Nice breakfast included.

No cold water on the bathroom. The pool was closed. No dirty laundry bag. No toilet paper holder. Just general dirty room.

I like that the property was within walking distance of the stadium in Cincinnati.

I would not recommend this hotel. Upon arrival, there were no luggage carts available, making it difficult to bring our belongings to the room. The reservation was for five people, yet the room was stocked with only three towels and did not include any washcloths or hand towels. When I contacted the front desk to request additional towels, I was told they would need time to “find some.” The cleanliness of the room was also concerning. We found a fake fingernail in the room, and small black fuzzy objects continually appeared on both the sheets and in the bathroom throughout our stay. There was also a large gap under the room door, which impacted privacy and made the room feel less secure. One of the most disappointing experiences occurred at the pool, where the pool attendant used inappropriate language and swore at children. Overall, the stay fell well below expectations in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and basic accommodations. While we made it through the stay and didn’t die, I would not recommend this hotel to others and would not choose to stay here again. Unfortunately, we didn’t take any pictures.

Dirty and needs updating. However, lobby was beautiful, clean, and updated! We upgraded to a highest floor room, and were so excited! We were very dissapointed. I wouldn’t ever stay here again simply due to the uncleanliness.
