"A hidden gem"

Excellent service, very friendly staff and very high standards of cleanliness. Traditional values, very good food both at breakfast and dinner with pristine white tablecloths, silver cutlery, condiments and teapots etc. No tepid buffet here......everything is served at your table. What a delight. The beds were comfortable and the room was of a good size and was warm and cosy. Everything was provided for your comfort that you would have got in a five star hotel - tea & coffee tray, biscuits, bottles of water, sewing kit, shoe mit, dressing gown and slippers as well as a full range of bathroom toiletries.

The private bathroom was rather small with a shower over the bath which didn't have a lot of pressure.

"Perfect hotel in Whitby"

Hotel was in a perfect location. Spotlessly clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Will definitely recommend abd will be back.
