Pensión San Jorge

No heating in the room which made it cold and damp.

The bathroom was new and I liked that I could make some tea with the kettle that was outside. The food in the restaurant San Jorge was really good!

The bedroom was not very inviting and cold (no heater). I expected a bathtub as that what was shown on the pictures but I missed the detail that the description said bathtub OR shower - my mistake, but still disappointing after a long day of hiking. I stayed in places along the Camino that were nicer and better value for money, with breakfast even included. btw. the additional breakfast cost 12€ and not 8€ like shown here.

Lovely friendly family run hotel. Great location and perfectly clean.

The room was comfortable with a good location right on the Camino.

The staff were very friendly, but I was misinformed about receiving the key from the hotel. No one was at the hotel (it was locked), so I waited there, thinking it would open soon. I am used to things being closed in Spain midday. The host had sent me instructions that morning and I had announced my arrival time. I waited three hours, thinking someone would show up. Finally, I gave up and began walking back to town, and then a man at a house below yelled up to me. They had been there the whole time! I later found out the hotel was absolutely closed - no guests or reception. Why was this not explained in the message with directions? Very frustrating and a huge waste of much of my day. Nothing was offered other than a short apology. Too bad it ruined my experience, which was okay otherwise.

Good value, clean, close to city center. Laundry close by

Paper thin wall. Door stop missing leaving sharp screw sticking up next to tub. We put a coffee cup over it. Someone’s dog was padding back and forth in the hallway, After midnight trying to get in to owners room. Pillows were very thin.

Could keep my bike in the room. Comfortable and clean. Quiet, I had a room in the apartment building opposite the bar (which was closed that night).
