Skryne Castle Built in 1142

Castle was great for our large group. So much space for everyone and great grounds

Everything was good.

A group of 9 of us stayed at Skryne Castle. The castle was nothing short of fantastic! It was clean, the location was just beautiful and the host was brilliant. A pleasure to deal with. We will most definitely be back to Skryne again!

This is an extraordinary place in an extraordinary location.

I’ve been here twice. The wifi has not worked well either time. It may be the remote location. There are a few things I wish were taken care of. The toilets don’t flush well anywhere and it’s a simple fix of adjusting the flow valves inside the toilet or buying new ones. The kitchen really should have some paper towel. There is no way to wipe up spills except one tea tell provided for drying dishes. The heat seems fairly iffy although the electric bed warmers are a great addition. The mattresses seem at the end of their life. I wouldn’t point these things out generally but I love this place and want to step up to what it can be. It’s on the pricey side and a few small details would make it feel more with the cost.

We had an incredible time here for my sister's hen party. Esther was so, so helpful and all the instructions provided were clear and thorough. The castle itself is beautiful and comfortably fit 18 of us. The whole place is really impressive and it had everything we needed for our stay. It's located in a gorgeous setting and is a short walk away from a great pub in the village, Fox's. All in all, we had an amazing time and can't recommend staying here highly enough. Thank you!
