Key West Inn - Montgomery

Beds ok too much noise.

This place was terrible. My husband and I juat needed a few hours sleep while on our way to Ohio. As we walked were walking to our room there was trash and half emtpy beer bottles laying around. In our room, the blanket was dirty and had a lot of cigarette burn holes and the sheets were very very stained with what looked like urine.The room looked like it wasn't clean, the shower curtain had holes and stains and yellow due to cigarette smoke. The couch and 2 finning chairs were falling apart, old, and smelled terrible. This place was disgusting!!! We checked in around 10pm and checked out around 4am. We took the bedding off the bed and we used our own bedding. We couldn't stay all night to get some rest, we were very uncomfortable and grossed out.

Rooms not the best but it’s livable.

Washer and dryer were in horrible conditions no ice machine on site but other than that very clean room.

We weren't able to use the microwave or fridge. This was something we needed to save money due to evacuation. The microwave was super rusted out, and the refrigerator was warm. Also, the room had what looked like blood in the bathroom. There was barely any water pressure in the shower. The towels looked and smelled like they hadn't been washed in years. The charges had tons of peeling. The plugs didn't secure well. The room smelled musty, and there was a smell of marijuana all over the hotel. They weren't very friendly upon check-in or checkout. For a supposed "new" room advertisement. This was ridiculous.

We arrived and the drug addicts were outside smoking crack. The prostitutes were soliciting for sex in front of my car. The staff an available could not speak English. The elevator did not work and the rooms were up the stairs, high up. The staff was unprofessional and we stood scared trying to find out if we was at the wrong hotel. We was not, we thought the hotel was closed down until the buyers rolled up to buy. This hotel is a danger and should be condemned

The doors on the room were dirty dirty. The socket for the internet was hanging out of the wall. Had issues with getting in the room. Had to swipe the bag seven to eight times to get in the room. Had guests with children put above us and they were noisy as hell for hours, stomping and rolling luggage. Felt like we were in an apartment the noise was so loud. No soap in the room. No cups, no coffee maker, no kleenex. Lights by the bed worked when they wanted to. Light by sink started flickering. The only reason I stayed was it wasnjust for overnight.

It was very ghetto.

In my opinion this place were a prostitute nest, I was planning to stay with my kids and wife due to a car broke down and base on the way pictures looked on Expedia y sounded a safe place to spend the night, but nothing was even close to the reality. The entrance is right beside a gas station we're you can see drug addicts and what it looks prostitutes hanging out trying to get business into the hotel.the overall look of the hotel is dirty not well maintained we decided to go somewhere else, I couldn't get my money back because didn't wanted pay for the insurance, lesson well learned don't trust the pictures from Expedia and buy insurance so you can get your money back.
