Afon View

We loved the location and our room which was on a top floor up stairs in a refurbished Victorian building an easy walk to local pubs and restaurants. The owner does the breakfast and it was very good with good choices. Have the waffles They are delicious. Very freindly and helpful. We were blown away by the beauty of this village and the whole area. There is parking above it at the back and quite a few stairs down to it but public parking was also usually available on the street with easier access. Not suitable for people who will have difficulty on stairs but no worse than most places we stayed at.

Lovely clean room with Mountain View.

Having to go onto the Guide book link to ask for clean towels, tea bags etc. after a 3 night stay I would expect towels and tea/coffee etc to be refilled routinely without having to ask. I didn’t like having to pre book what I wanted for breakfast, I like to choose what I fancy eating on the day. No breakfast available on Mondays.

Great location, Gid was an excellent host and very helpful with a good knowledge of the area, recommending places to visit and restaurants to try. He also cooks a good breakfast!

Decor and attention to details

Sehr schöne, authentische und saubere Unterkunft. Liebevoll gestaltet und auch das Bett war super bequem. Das selbstgemachte Frühstück ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Verschiedene Lokale und Geschäfte in direkter Umgebung. Nachts himmlisch ruhig. Und der Gastgeber ist einfach top. Super freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Haben viele tolle Tipps bekommen und uns sehr willkommen gefühlt.
