Breakwater Hotel

Das Frühstück kann man nicht als solches bezeichnen. Sehr spartanisch. (Kaffee, Heißes Wasser für Tee oder Kakao, 1 Sorte Muffins, portionierte Cornflakes, Saft im Joghurbecherverpackung) Kaffee/Frühstück oder Gym erst ab 8 am möglich. Ab 8 pm waren die Räume alle verschlossen. Zum schnellen Übernachten auf der Durchreise ausreichend. Zimmer waren zwar klein aber ansprechend und sauber. Im Sommer sicherlich ansprechender durch die direkte Strandlage und den Loungemöbeln vor den Zimmern. Alles in allem war es für eine Nacht ok. :-)

I have enjoyed each of my stays at the Breakwater over the past few years. The rooms are clean and bright and have direct access to the beach. Although on this trip the weather was rainy and cold the heating unit in our room was more than substantial. The continental breakfast is just enough to begin the day and best of all, at this early time in the rental season, the price was perfect for a short visit.

Just something to consider, we were staying in Room #5. When the heating unit was on, the front window was completely covered in condensation which tells me that there is a seal in the window that has been compromised. This did not ruin our stay in any way but it will be something to repair in the future.

Right across from the beach. Very neat and tidy

We could hear every conversation from the room next door. The TV didn't work.

The location is great, just across the street from the beach and only a 20 minute walk into town. The room was cozy and the lounge chairs in front of the room were great to sit on and have a coffee in the sun.

Not much to not like really.

De locatie en de kamer met zeezicht. Er is praktisch omgegaan met de ruimte gezien het formaat van de kamer.

Eigenlijk niks. Misschien had de wastafel op de badkamer iets groter gemogen.

Location is great, easy walk/bike into town.

The walls in our room were not clean and the included breakfast could have had some more options.
