The property has old buildings but kept in the good condition.

Stayed here for an extended stay and the location is great. Some of the front desk staff is great and others just have that “I don’t give a crap attitude!” However, the buildings are old and need an uplift. According to staff the ownership changed and there are struggles. Housekeeping is hit or miss, some days for full clean there were fresh sheets other days for a refresh towels were missing along with dishwashing powder and kitchen towels. Staff always had an excuse and to blame others. Breakfast was a joke. Some days food was hot and some days it was solid cold at 6:30am, some days they had juice and milk and others well they didn’t. Young breakfast attendant likes to sit at front desk and neglect the area while the other attendant stays and keeps the food replenished. Management is hit or miss. Some of the construction workers smoke. Y their door and some smoke more than cigarettes. Overall hotel needs a major renovation.

This is a very good option for travelers from LA to San Francisco. A nice respite in the middle of Bakersfield. The front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are perfect if you have kids or a dog - lots of green grass and amenities. The rooms could be updated a bit - definitely worn - but thankfully very clean. We had no concerns in our one bedroom suite - clean bathroom, spotless sheets and towels and a well-stocked kitchen with squeaky clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Finally, some of the reviews shared concerns about safety and security. We disagree. We drove a $150K Porsche and felt comfortable parking it in the lot outside of our suite. In the morning, there were no signs of problems anywhere on the property. There were multiple security cameras on the corners of the buildings - and the parking lots were well lighted. We'll be back for sure.

Great one night stay on our travels home. I splurged for the larger 2 room suite and it was perfect for my family of 4 and 2 dogs. Staff were great and very accommodating. Room was clean and ac was great!

Staff of front desk was so nice even she gave me a cold water bottle after returning outside of hot weather.

Outstanding service. I usually don’t write reviews but I wanted to take the time to highlight this properties fantastic staff members that have made this stay outstanding. When traveling, the last thing you want to deal with are delayed flights and travel issues. Our flight was delayed and the staff was very accommodating to have a 3 am arrival time with a smooth check-in process. Communicating and coordinating with Desiree who was super friendly and helpful. We had sudden travel changes due to bereavement that we had to leave early, Desiree and the manager Jennifer, really went above and beyond to help us make additional travel arrangements. Their commitment to hospitality was truly rare, we don’t see very much of that in these times. I will definitely be staying here the next time I’m in town.
