Ice not cleared from the parking lot. Other businesses had lots mostly cleared, it appeared this lot had no attention to being cleared.

"The housekeepers need to do better. The rooms need an upgrade. Especially the suites."

The staff was polite. Always communicating with a welcoming smile.

The couch was dirty. I had to scrub dirty spots off. The recliner was ripped on the right side facing forward. The black chair looked as if it had not been clean in months. The silver chrome was dusty. The mirror at the sink was dirty. The wooden shelf that the fridge and microwave is in, had wood missing surrounding the frame. The carpet looked like it was barely vacuumed. I stay at the hotel often when I travel to Roanoke. Yes, it does need an upgrade. I guess based on the price, management feels it is not necessary. This is the 2nd time within the pass 6 months that my room was not clean properly.
