I really hope I get the chance to return here. The rooms are spacious as well as the entrance and the marble staircase. The breakfast room is equally comfortable for a relaxing start to the day. The hotel is in an ideal location for the city centre and gare st roch

Grand Hotel du Midi was a central location ideal for our short visit to Montpellier. The room for 4 did the job nicely - the sofa bed was already open and prepared for us, and they were comfortable. I liked that the balcony doors could be opened (which faced the historic Credit Lyonnais building), and when you closed those doors - soundproof! Very good because the Comedie square is busy and noisy. The hotel instructions for parking that get sent to you automatically are critical to follow - it took a bit of care, but we figured it out. We didn't take the tunnel as indicated, but just took the stairs up to Comedie square - bring your ticket for the discount (17 Euro) and present to th front desk. The hotel itself has a classic character, with ornate staircases, stained-glass windows, and decor. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. I liked that water was provided and a nespresso.

We’ve just spent a long weekend here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Montpellier. We had a superior room which gave that bit of extra space, really comfy bed , water & tea / coffee provided too. The bathroom had a shower over the bath so caution if you’ve any aches or pains , otherwise perfect. The staff were charming and special call out to Cedric who was most helpful.

Excellent air conditioning (June). Takes a little while to work after learning controls and then it is very effective. Best location on the major square. Quiet room with juliette balcony facing pedestrian street. Car- free pedestrian old town with many outdoor restaurants nearby. Old solid belle epoch grand hotel in good shape. Very helpful staff. Beautiful old university city off the usual tourist path.Only 7 minute walk from train station.

Les deux chambres (1er et 2ème étage) en angle avec vue sur la comédie sont superbes! Rien à redire. Un des meilleurs hôtels de montpellier!

Friendly and helpful staff. Old-world accommodations but clean and quaint. Perfect location to walk to the old town center.

Très bon séjour. Sauf pour la télé, Canal + annoncé, juste 2 chaînes disponibles, dommage, sinon donnez un mode d emploi avec la télécommande 😊

Accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Très belle décoration dans l’ensemble de l’hôtel. Chambre magnifique, confortable, et calme. Délicieux petit déjeuner avec très grand choix. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour en amoureux ou tout simplement touristique grâce à sa localisation idéale.

The hotel is well located to see museums and historic neighborhoods. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a quite spacious room that was comfortable and with high ceilings. I would definitely stay here again.
