Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago - Schaumburg

I check in at 9:00 or 10:00 p.m. and the first room they give me there's construction inside. Go back to the main office and they give me another room. I go in the room and the carpet was washed and wet. So I asked for a refund. Very bad service. They would not even give me a refund until I argue.

Overall my stay was good . This is my second time at this hotel. It’s a slow checkin process but the staff is friendly. Breakfast is simple but good

Check in was amazing. Mary st the front desk helped make some needed changes and made our trip great. The only down fall was that our bathtub did not drain while showering so you stood in dirty gross water and also the handle was broken so it was difficult to not only turn on but also to get the water temperature to hot. These both concern me bc if the bathroom was cleaned properly the maids would/should have alerted maintenance this fixed.

People were making noises when I complained the person at the desk Alik I believe was his name came to my room instead of calling me and put me on the spot in front of people

Superb Customer Service... from the time we arrived... EVERYTHING has been excellent.. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great breakfast... Lovely holiday decorations in lobby (great backdrop for photos). The only hiccup was being wiithout water service for several hours due to a pipe bursting near the hotel. I am hoping the hotel will offer some sort of partial refund for this inconvenience. All in all, this was a great experience.

Very clean, up to date, very nice, really liked the technology within the room.

The parking was a bit hard around 9 pm. They had a storage container taking up 4-5 parking spots which would have come in great use. I also didn’t like that you had to drive around the building to get to your room. Sort of like a “motel” but still very appealing building
