"Great hotel, but bit pricey"

Great location, easy to walk around and reach "downtown" Edgartown by bike, car or Uber. Enough options to have breakfast in the neighborhood. Super friendly staff, spacious, clean rooms, comfy beds and clean bathroom.

Price/Value is ok. It's a nice hotel and I can recommend it without any hesitation but paying close to 695 USD per night for 2 people is a stretch. 15-20% less and it would be a great price/value perception.

Very conveniently located.

Room was on second floor and no elevator. Shower did not drain property and ran through the faucet while the shower head sprayed.. the lighting in the bathroom is too dim.

"Overall it was good"

It was a cute property with nice furnishings and cute shark signs in hallways which I thought was a nice touch.

The wallpaper in the room was peeling, and the lamp shade had discolored, giving it a dingy look. At the restaurant, the atmosphere was nice, but the service was very poor. The sushi bar appetizers and my meal came out quickly, but the rest of my family’s food didn’t arrive until more than an hour later. We eventually had to track down a different server, and only then was their food brought out cold. Our original waitress was nowhere to be found, and when it came time to pay, my husband had to wait an additional 40 minutes. She never came over to apologize for the delays or to check in on us

The property was clean and the staff was very nice. The rooms were spacious and nice. The location is great because it was in walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. I would definitely stay at the Edgar Hotel again!
