Having a climate-controlled pool temperature would've made a nice difference.

Super séjour, Nous avons aimé l’emplacement, le lit, notre chambre et le restaurant sur la plage.

c’est dommage que la piscine ne soit pas chauffé. Le personnel pourrait être un peu plus souriant et dire bonjour en passant à côté. Nous avons pas eu de peignoirs et chaussons dans la chambre comme il était écrit et nous avons vu avant notre départ que nos voisins de chambre en avaient dans leur chambre.

Gostei de tudo.

Dejlige store værelser. Både morgen og aften buffet var over al forventning sammenlignet med andre hoteller. Fint udvalg af glutenfrie morgen produkter. Værelse kan beholdes til kl 12 på afrejsedagen.

A decent hotel but with quite a few teething problems. We had quite a few maintenance issues in our room which included the AC vent leaking, leaving a large puddle in the room, the spotlight in the bathroom leaking (dangerous electrical fault) and the panel holding up the bathroom vent also came off and was hanging down in the middle of the night (a near miss to the head when using the toilet upon discovery). The issues were reported to reception and were dealt with. The hotel consists of two blocks interconnecting at the ground floor. We were told the block with the main rooftop (accessible to everyone) is being refurbed so we would have to stay in the level block where the level rooftop lounge is located but we were unable to use this facility due to it only being for upgraded guests. This resulted in a few awkward trips from our room, all the way to the ground floor, strolling through the lobby and back up to the roof in the other block and repeat for the way back - which you can imagine is quite uncomfortable in swimwear. Not to mention the lifts are absolutely tiny and very rickety. Our request for an unobstructed sea view room for our grade was kindly accommodated and we spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the waves (albeit it was the side with no sunshine). The staff in general were nice enough but the breakfast staff were wonderful and very welcoming first thing in the morning. Good breakfast options, lots of choice. The hotel had entertainment every night which was nice to know. Also a very central beach location while also a stone’s throw from the markets and the main town. We enjoyed our stay minus the few hiccups, maybe venture to another Meliá in another destination as the facilities were good minus the bad timing of refurb works.
